About The Position

Our Foundation Wee Care offers Therapy Services and Home and Community-Based Services using evidence-based treatment models to help your loved one achieve and maintain the highest level of independence. Wee Care has been serving families in our community and surrounding communities since April 2006. Wee Care Corp is seeking Direct Care Workers to provide safe, respectful support to individuals with developmental disabilities as they build independence and work toward personal goals. This role exists to strengthen daily functioning, confidence, and progress through consistent, evidence-based assistance.

Requirements

• Genuine motivation to make a positive impact
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with developmental disabilities
• Experience promoting self-esteem/advocacy
• CPR/First Aid and Article 9 training (a strong plus; classes provided)
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance and Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certificate (or willingness to obtain)

• Provide hands-on support aligned with each individual’s plan and goals
• Encourage empowerment, self-esteem, and skill development
• Communicate clearly and professionally with a customer-focused approach
• Maintain safety, integrity, and accurate documentation as required
