About The Position
As a Direct Care Worker Northville, you’ll be the steady, energizing support adults count on—helping them feel safe, capable, and connected every day. This role exists to deliver hands-on assistance while protecting dignity, comfort, and independence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable using smartphones/mobile apps for care notes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Accurate record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation)
- Providing compassionate companionship
- Supporting adults with special mental health needs
- Facilitating community outings and transportation
- Completing accurate documentation using smartphone/mobile apps
