About The Position

MedStaffers is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate Direct Care Workers to support clients in their homes all through Westmoreland County with personal care and daily living activities. Requirements

• 1 year of home care experience preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to complete a criminal background check
• Ability to complete (or provide) a two-step TB test

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
• Helping with mobility: ambulation, transfers, and guided exercises
• Providing light housekeeping: vacuuming, dishes, laundry, dusting
• Running errands: grocery shopping or transportation to appointments
• Preparing and serving meals and snacks
• Medication reminders
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Paid travel time between clients
