About The Position

Our mission is to empower individuals to live successfully within their communities or independently, according to their personal goals. We are looking to hire compassionate and reliable Direct Care Workers who are responsible for providing personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship to our consumers. We are currently hiring for full-time and part-time positions in all areas and for all shifts.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required
• Willingness to engage individuals in community activities and assist with participation outcomes
• Must complete 24 hours of annual training
• Must take a 2-step TB test or chest X-ray.
• Completion of the PA state competency test.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Prepare meals according to dietary requirements.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to consumers.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of consumers at all times.
• Adhere to care plans and document care provided.
• Communicate effectively with consumers, families, and healthcare professionals.
