About The Position
Alternative Services, Inc. (ASI) is seeking compassionate and genuine individuals to join their team as Direct Care Workers/Direct Support Professionals. ASI has been a leader in supporting people with disabilities to live meaningful lives for over 48 years. This role involves providing 24-hour care in a small group home setting (Adult Foster Care home) for adults with disabilities. Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Possess a valid Michigan Driver's license.
- Possess excellent moral character.

Responsibilities
- Assisting individuals with disabilities in a variety of daily living activities.
- Providing personal care, including hygiene, basic health, and administering medication.
- Performing household tasks such as cleaning and shopping.
- Serving as an advocate and role model in all interactions with persons served.
- Supporting individuals in their participation in leisure activities, both at home and in the community.
- Respecting the rights, dignity, property, and privacy of persons served.
