Direct Care Worker
About The Position
365 Health Services is seeking Direct Care Workers to provide physical care and emotional support to clients who may be unable to care for themselves because of illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The ideal candidate treats clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect, and remains empathetic while encouraging clients. The role includes helping clients with household and daily living needs, personal care, errands and transportation, appointments, medications, meals, and companionship. 365 Health Services is a healthcare organization focused on delivering efficient, compassionate, and cost-effective services in an environment that fosters excellence, teamwork, empathy, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- High school diploma preferred.
- Must be able to complete a criminal background report.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for sometimes long periods.

Responsibilities
- Provide light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation when needed.
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with medications.
- Prepare meals and purchase food.
- Assist with general living needs, including toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
- Provide financial assistance when needed, such as balancing checkbooks, going to the bank, or helping clients pay bills.
- Offer companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and assisting clients.
