About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team in Petersburg, MI. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or similar roles is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and assist with mobility.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor IS A MUST.
- Valid driver’s license or State ID is required for this position.
- Own Reliable transportation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their well-being.
- Help with mobility and transportation as needed.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Follow care plans and uphold company policies and procedures.
