Direct Care Worker
About The Position
Cornerstone is currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and hardworking Direct Care Workers to provide dedicated 1-on-1 support to a special high acuity client in our residential program. Cornerstone is a Person-Centered Program, meaning the individuals we serve always come first. As a Christian organization, our purpose is to provide quality, compassionate support to individuals residing in our homes while promoting independence, dignity, choice, and meaningful community involvement. This role offers a base pay starting at $17.13 per hour plus a $75 daily bonus for each day worked with this specific high acuity client.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Dependable and reliable attendance
- Compassionate and patient approach to providing care
- Ability to follow individualized plans and required documentation
- Must maintain all required training and employment qualifications
Responsibilities
- Providing dedicated 1-on-1 supervision and support
- Assisting with personal care and daily living needs
- Supporting community activities and outings
- Encouraging independence and personal goals
- Following the individual's Plan of Service and established support strategies
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
