About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a FREE forty (40) hour training program incorporating basic regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills for PCA/ Direct Care Worker, DCW, graduate to provide care for adults in our Assistive Care State Programs practice. This role offers a starting pay of $13 per hour.
Requirements
- Successfully complete 40 Hour Direct Care Worker Course, provided by BAYADA
Responsibilities
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
