About The Position

LSSI is hiring a Certified Disabilities Aide at the East Shady Oaks location. Responsible for assisting adults with developmental disabilities and providing care in all areas of daily living in a residential setting.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check clearance required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to meet extensive physical requirement of the position.
Demonstrated ability to read and write in English in order to complete required documentation.
Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency required.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living.
Driver and escort clients to outings, appointments, and other places in the community.
Safely complete client transfers per facility protocol.
Perform various housekeeping tasks.
Implement client individual habilitation plans.
Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.
