Direct Care Worker - Part Time Floater
About The Position
JEVS is one of the largest and most respected non-profits in the Philadelphia area, dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives. We’re looking for compassionate, dependable, and flexible individuals to join our Community Living & Home Supports (CLHS) team as Direct Care Workers. This is a floater position, which means you’ll bring your support and care to different homes and locations. Flexibility is key—you’ll work a variety of shifts, including weekends (Saturday & Sunday). Every day is different—no two shifts are the same. Homes operate 24/7, so scheduling includes weekends and holidays. The work can sometimes be physically and emotionally demanding, but the impact you make is immeasurable. Responsibilities
- Support up to three adults with disabilities in a welcoming home environment
- Assist with daily living needs like cooking, cleaning, and shopping
- Help individuals engage in their communities—whether it’s volunteer opportunities, events, or outings
- Encourage independence, celebrate achievements, and be a positive force in someone’s daily life
