About The Position
Providing training in basic self-help skills and homemaking services to adults with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities. This includes transportation, accompanying clients to scheduled appointments, house cleaning, and meal preparation, among other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required. If an applicant does not possess high school diploma or GED, they must pass an agency competency exam.
- Texas driver's license
- Clear driving record for the past 3 years
- Valid auto insurance card
- Must satisfactorily perform job related physical tasks
- Able to perform routine lifting of handicapped clients
- Able to bend, stoop, crouch, sit, stand, push, pull, kneel, and reach overhead and lift
