Direct Care Staff
About The Position
Spread Your Wings, LLC is a fast-growing social services company with over 10 offices across California. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Staff to join our mission-driven team. In this role, you will make a real difference in people's lives every day by supporting clients with independent living skills, assisting them with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges, and planning schedules to promote goal achievement. We offer mentorship, team support, and career growth opportunities. This position is available for both part-time and full-time employment, and no prior experience is needed as we provide comprehensive training.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communicator & problem solver
- Comfortable working independently in one-on-one settings
Nice To Haves
- Behavioral health experience a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Support clients with independent living skills (cooking, budgeting, hygiene)
- Assist clients with developmental disabilities & behavioral challenges
- Plan and organize schedules to promote goal achievement
- Document client progress via case notes
