About The Position
HIRING TODAY FOR FULL TIME POSITIONS IN THE SANTA MARIA AREA. No experience needed - We will train. Position 1- Full Time/40 hours per week- Driver's License Required: Monday - Friday 2:00PM - 10:00PM Position 2- Full Time/40 hours per week/ Graveyard shifts- Driver's License Required: Monday 10:00PM - 6:00AM Wednesday 10:00PM - 6:00AM Saturday 6:00AM - 2:00PM Sunday 2:00PM- 10:00PM Rate: $19.50/Hour Benefits & Perks (Full-Time Employees Only): Fast benefits access- Eligible in 30 days or less. Spread Your Wings (SYW) Direct Care Staff (DCS)/Supportive Living Staff (SLS) are responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive environment which ensures the quality living of our clients. Assist, monitor, and teach individual(s) with preparation of daytime activities and encourage good personal hygiene and behavior appropriate in their home or apartment. These activities may include grocery shopping, menu planning, meal preparation, and clean up. Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral challenges. Help plan, create, and organize tasks and schedules that promote goal achievement for your clients. Provide consistent documentation of progress through case notes. You'd be great if you: Have a passion for helping others and believe in treating people with dignity and respect. Can problem solve and adapt to different client needs. Are a strong communicator and dependable. Are comfortable working independently in one-on-one settings Have experience working in a similar role or field (preferred, not required) Are willing to learn and grow in this role.
