About The Position

Sentara Medical Group Cardiology Specialists is hiring a full-time Direct Care Registered Nurse at its Williamsburg, Virginia location. This in-office role is scheduled Monday through Friday, either 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with no nights, holidays, or weekends. The Registered Nurse delivers high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population. The role includes assessing patients, developing and implementing personalized care plans, administering medications and treatments, and evaluating responses to interventions. The nurse collaborates with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care and support continuity throughout treatment. The nurse educates patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care; monitors and documents vital signs and changes in patient condition; and responds with appropriate interventions. The role requires sound clinical judgment when addressing complex health situations, consulting medical team members as needed, and documenting care according to regulatory and organizational standards.

Requirements

Diploma, ADN, BSN, or MSN.
Virginia, compact, or multistate RN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
ACLS certification required after hire.
Clinical experience preferred; new graduates are not accepted.
