Direct Care Registered Nurse, Emergency Department - Part-time
About The Position
Sentara Careplex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a part-time position with a weekend day shift. New graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply. The role involves assessing and admitting patients, performing rounding checks, administering medications, communicating with family members, and taking overall responsibility for patient care. The Emergency Department is equipped with 43 beds, including 11 fast-track beds, and staffed by board-certified emergency physicians and nurses with specialized training in emergency care, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric certifications. Requirements
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- RN-Associate’s Degree, or RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or RN-Diploma, or RN-Master’s Degree
