About The Position
Macomb Residential Opportunities is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Care Professionals to join their team. This role involves working with patients in an adult group home/community living support setting, primarily caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include housekeeping, running errands, providing transportation, and performing basic home health care such as assistance with hygiene, bathing, feeding, and medical monitoring.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Submit to and result in a clean criminal background check
- Comply with all pre-employment and training requirements
Responsibilities
- Performing housekeeping tasks
- Running errands
- Providing transportation
- Performing basic home health care for clients
- Assistance with basic hygiene, bathing, feeding, medical monitoring, and other health care related tasks
