About The Position

Full-Time Direct Care Professional (DSP) with the Southeastern Family Project (SEFP). In this rewarding role, you'll provide compassionate care and daily support to women and families receiving residential treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. As part of our residential team, you'll help create a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment where individuals can build life skills, strengthen family relationships, and work toward lasting independence.

Requirements

  • One year of direct care experience working with adults and/or families with substance abuse and/or mental health needs.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.

  • CNA a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision and support in a residential treatment setting.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, household responsibilities, and infant care as needed.
  • Encourage participation in recovery programming, life skills development, and structured activities.
  • Observe, document, and communicate client progress, behaviors, and safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and therapeutic living environment.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager and multidisciplinary treatment team to support successful client outcomes.
