The Director of Quality Management is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and assuring an integrated and coordinated Quality Program based on the hospital's Quality Improvement/Patient Safety Plan. This role involves coordinating activities of the Continuous Quality Improvement Committee, supervising the Quality Team, and providing leadership to managers and medical staff in adopting quality indicators and performance measures. The position also oversees Peer Review (OPPE/FPPE), Performance Improvement, and Patient Safety functions, ensuring consistency and continuity across all quality-related activities. Additionally, the Director is responsible for accreditation and hospital licensure, maintaining professional relationships, and ensuring compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, and the Corporate Compliance Plan. This role requires providing service appropriate for the patient's age and maintaining a courteous demeanor.
