About the Position The Director, MHE Commercial Operations will support the rapid growth of the Material Handling Equipment Solutions (MHES) division under the larger Kenco umbrella. This position will be responsible for the end-to-end design, execution, and optimization of the MHES go-to-market (GTM) infrastructure. This role will act as the critical link between the MHES and the central Kenco corporate sales organization, ensuring that global standards are upheld while tailoring processes to meet the unique needs of the MHES group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration field or related required.
  • 8+ years in Sales Ops, RevOps, or Commercial Ops, preferably with experience in both large corporate environments and high-growth business units.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence stakeholders.
  • A "builder" mindset—comfortable with ambiguity and willing to roll up sleeves to create documentation from scratch.

Nice To Haves

  • Power-user status in CRM software and experience in identifying and implementing new cutting edge tools/systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between MHES and the corporate Revenue Ops team to ensure data integrity and tool compatibility
  • Audit existing corporate sales frameworks and "translate" or rebuild them to fit the division’s specific buyer journey and offering lifecycle.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the MHES President and VP of Sales to identify growth levers and operational bottlenecks.
  • Define the division-specific sales stages, lead-to-revenue workflows, and "Rules of Engagement" for the sales team
  • Establish rigorous inspection cadences and criteria for pipeline maturity to ensure high-velocity movement and accuracy.
  • Build and maintain a predictable revenue forecasting model that rolls up into the corporate reporting structure.
  • Lead the configuration of the divisional CRM instance (e.g., Salesforce) including custom fields, page layouts, and automated workflows.
  • Identify and manage the rollout of sales enablement tools specifically for MHES needs
  • Ensure all MHES data is captured accurately to allow for "clean" reporting at the Kenco corporate level.
  • Define and track key metrics and drive process and training to influence them.
  • Create real-time visibility for stakeholders via automated dashboards for both individual contributors and executive leadership
  • Own the data preparation and operational narrative for Kenco monthly and quarterly commercial reviews.
  • Coordinate ongoing training in sales techniques, new system features, and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with central sales team to drive a "Playbook" that serves as the single source of truth for all MHES commercial processes.
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR to design incentive plans that drive the specific behaviors needed for a new division (e.g., hunter vs. farmer models).
  • Design and execute short-term tactical incentives to boost specific products or seasonal targets.
