About The Position
The Director of Clinical Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of all clinical programs and therapeutic services. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, clinical excellence, and staff development while promoting positive patient outcomes in a behavioral health setting.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
- Current Florida licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Psychologist).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive clinical leadership experience in behavioral health or healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and clinical best practices.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in acute inpatient psychiatric services.
- Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and performance improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Clinical Services Department, including therapists and social workers.
- Oversee assessments, treatment planning, group programming, and discharge planning.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, state, federal, and company standards.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop clinical staff.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to achieve organizational goals and enhance patient care.
