Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment (required)
- Texas Food Safety Manager Certification (required)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen/dining environment
Responsibilities
- Lead daily kitchen operations as a hands-on working supervisor
- Prepare and cook meals according to established menus
- Inventory management and budgeting
- Perform dishwashing and kitchen clean-up duties as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Provide oversight and direction to cooks who work independently on assigned shifts
