About The Position
We're looking for friendly, dependable team members who enjoy helping others and creating a welcoming dining experience in our memory care and assisted living units. At Dallas Retirement Village, our Dining Services Aides play an important role in residents' daily lives by providing exceptional meal service, maintaining clean dining areas, and helping create a positive and enjoyable dining environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, working as part of a team, and making a meaningful difference through hospitality and service. Whether you're starting your career or bringing customer service experience from another industry, we'd love to meet you.
Requirements
- Previous customer service, hospitality, restaurant, or food service experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and dietary service guidelines
- Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Must be at least 16 years old (or per applicable state requirements)
- Friendly, professional, and service-oriented

Responsibilities
- Serving meals according to resident preferences and dietary needs
- Setting and clearing dining room tables
- Assisting with beverage and snack service
- Performing dishwashing duties
- Maintaining clean dining and pantry areas
- Stocking supplies
- Supporting overall kitchen operations
- Providing a warm, welcoming, and hospitality-focused dining experience
