About The Position

The Dining Server position at Brandywine Seaside Pointe by Monarch Communities is a part-time role focused on creating an exceptional dining experience for residents, their families, and guests. The server will engage in conversation, deliver meals, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, resort-style dining environment. This role offers a work-life balance not typically found in traditional restaurant settings and provides an opportunity to build relationships with residents.

Requirements

High school diploma preferred/GED accepted
Minimum of one (1) year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior living
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Competent in organizational, time management skills
Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
Experience working with seniors
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs.
Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents.
The associate must use proper body mechanics.
