About The Position

Allegro Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Part-Time Dining Server for evening meal service in one of South Florida's premier senior living communities. With consistent weeknight hours and every other weekend, you'll enjoy a predictable schedule that's done well before your evening even gets started. No late-night closings. No unpredictable restaurant hours. Just meaningful work serving residents who truly appreciate it. The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in an ALF, restaurant, or hotel setting
Warm, professional demeanor and strong communication skills
Dependable and punctual
Every other weekend availability required
Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player
Must have positive Criminal Background Screening
Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy

Food serving experience preferred

Responsibilities

Serve evening meals with warmth, care, and professionalism
Greet and assist residents and guests throughout the dining experience
Maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment throughout service
Deliver and retrieve trays as needed
Be a dependable, friendly presence that makes every dinner feel special
Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner
Approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner
Serve food in an efficient and professional manner
Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol
Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period
Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed
Label and date all food
Other job duties as assigned
