At Dallas Retirement Village, our Dining Servers play an important role in the daily lives of our residents. More than simply serving meals, you'll help create a welcoming dining experience where residents feel valued, respected, and cared for. This role works closely with fellow dining team members and residents to ensure every meal service is delivered with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. Requirements
- Customer service or food service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Professional, friendly, and resident-focused approach
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality service
- Ability to remain active throughout the shift, including standing, walking, lifting, and carrying trays
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Willingness to obtain a Food Handler's Card
- Commitment to providing excellent service to older adults
Responsibilities
- Help create a positive dining experience by providing friendly and attentive service to residents throughout each meal.
- Assist with dining room preparation, meal service, beverage service, and maintaining clean, organized dining spaces.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and dining team members to ensure residents receive meals that meet dietary requirements while fostering a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Support overall dining operations by assisting with cleaning, sanitation, dishwashing, and maintaining food service standards.
