About The Position

As a Server on the Benchmark dining team, you will foster a clean and welcoming dining environment and make a difference in residents’ lives through friendly, personalized service and appealing meals. The role includes taking and serving food and beverage orders, delivering meal trays and carts, assisting residents with meal selections and specific needs, preparing the dining room for scheduled meals, and helping inventory supplies.

Requirements

• Able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and applicable Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Able to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand in one place for extended periods; the position is primarily standing.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals promptly, ensuring they are presentable and appetizing.
• Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Assist residents who need help choosing meals or have specific needs.
• Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assist with inventorying supplies.
