About The Position

Join a team where your work makes a daily difference! In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming dining experience by supporting meal service and assisting with a variety of food service tasks. Working alongside a dedicated team, you’ll ensure residents and participants receive quality service while following established food service standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

The ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.
Previous experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare dining areas by setting tables and restocking food, beverages, and supplies.
Deliver meals promptly while honoring resident dietary needs and preferences.
Assist residents with meal selections to ensure a positive dining experience.
Greet residents, families, and guests with professionalism and kindness.
Respond promptly to resident requests, concerns, and dining needs.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure accurate meal service and support special events.
Maintain clean, organized dining areas by clearing dishes and sanitizing tables.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling and temperatures.
Report food quality concerns, safety issues, or resident needs to supervisors promptly.
