About The Position
The Dining Room Supervisor will assist the manager to coordinate all service and personnel related to the dining room. This role involves supervising and training all dining room employees, maintaining a positive and initiative-taking culture, and interacting with residents to ensure high-quality food and customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Ability to build professional rapport with employees.
- Previous experience in dining services.
- Current Food Handlers Card and CPR certification required
- Currently has, or has the ability to obtain, a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory experience-Preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all personnel and service related to the dining room
- Supervise and train all dining room employees in correct serving, sanitation, attitude, and rapport with residents.
- Addresses all resident concerns regarding problems in the dining room and accommodates them accordingly.
- Maintains a constant presence in the dining room to assure all residents that you care and are aware of what is going on.
- Assists Dining Room Manager with hiring and training of all dining room personnel.
- Coordinates room service and to-go orders for residents.
- Maintains all appropriate records.
- Conducts daily pre-meal meetings with staff.
- Keeps Dining Room Manager informed of all dining and kitchen activities.
- Works with special events coordinator to promote and staff special functions and events.
- All other duties as assigned.
