This role focuses on professionalism, consistency, and kindness—ensuring residents feel cared for, respected, and at home.

Requirements

At least 16 years old
Prior dietary and/or food service experience preferred
Sensitivity to the needs of seniors and individuals with disabilities
High attention to cleanliness, organization, and service standards
Friendly, respectful attitude and strong teamwork mindset

Responsibilities

Provide dining service using proper etiquette and professional hospitality standards
Take and place resident meal orders accurately and efficiently
Deliver meals and return to tables to ensure satisfaction and address needs
Prepare and maintain table settings, condiments, and menu displays
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining room before, during, and after service
Sanitize tables, reset place settings, and vacuum after each meal service
Refill sugar caddies, salt & pepper shakers, and beverage stations
Maintain beverage/server pantry and pub area supplies
Launder napkins, aprons, and kitchen towels as assigned
Clean beverage machines (coffee, juice, soda) regularly
Assist dietary aides or chef when time permits
Take a team-first approach—helping wherever needed to maintain excellence
