Under the general direction of the Culinary Director and Dining Room Manager, the primary responsibilities of the Dining Room Server include assisting with the overall functioning of the dietary department. This role involves ensuring the highest quality of customer service for residents, setting up dining room tables for meal times, and serving resident meals. The server is also responsible for cleaning the dining room, kitchen, or other areas as directed by management, and assisting with the preparation of snacks, desserts, salads, and condiments for service. Additional duties include transporting trash and linen to the disposal area, following and completing a daily task spreadsheet, noting refrigeration temperatures, assisting with special events and catering functions, and plating and delivering meals to remote locations. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor or Executive Director. Weekend availability may be required.
