About The Position

Golden Horseshoe Clubhouses Dining is available inside the clubhouses or outdoors overlooking the courses. Guests enjoy sweeping views of the greens and tree-lined fairways. Menu items include a contemporary selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, and tempting desserts. Upon being hired for this position, you will enter a Probationary status, working up to 40 hours per week. Upon completion of the probationary period, you could become benefit eligible.

Requirements

• Applicants must be 18 years of age according to Virginia Code § 4.1-307
• Previous server experience
• Demonstrated excellent personal contact skills
• Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: (1) bending, lifting and carrying loads of up to 50 pounds
• Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a current Williamsburg James City County food handler’s card and TIPS® certification; applicants with an active card and certification should be prepared to present both during the interview process
• In accordance with Virginia A.B.C. § 4.1-225 Colonial Williamsburg prohibits employment of anyone in an alcohol serving position who has been convicted of a felony, any crime involving moral turpitude (lying, cheating, or stealing), or a drug-related offense within the past five (5) years.
