About The Position

The Dining Room Attendant is responsible for servicing all guests in the dining room in every way possible, ensuring the best possible experience in hopes that they will return. This role requires compliance with attendance, punctuality, and uniform standards, as well as a complete understanding of bussing and menu standards. The attendant will be responsible for setting up the entire restaurant, delivering food and beverages accurately and in a timely manner, and maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor with all guests, using surnames whenever possible. Compliance with food handling standards is essential. Additional duties include running food to all sections of the restaurant and bar, completing assigned duties before checking out, and inspecting and manicuring one’s station for immaculate cleanliness and presentation. Station set-up and breakdown/side-work are also key responsibilities, along with performing any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Must have Food Handlers and TABC certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Fine dining or steak house experience preferred.
