The Dining Room Attendant is responsible for completing closing duties, including storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing the daily cleaning checklist. They will also set up, stock, and maintain work areas, and inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use. Maintaining cleanliness of work areas throughout the day with clean-as-you-go procedures is essential. The role requires adherence to all company and safety/security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and completing safety training. Ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintaining confidentiality, and protecting company assets are also key. The attendant will welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, speak clearly and professionally, and answer telephones with proper etiquette. Developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are important. The role also involves ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards, reading and visually verifying information, and performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
