Dining Hall Supervisor
About The Position
Join the team behind one of UPEI's busiest dining destinations. Wanda Wyatt Dining Hall is looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and customer-focused Front of House Supervisor to help lead our dining room operations and create an exceptional experience for students, faculty, staff, and guests. As the Front of House Supervisor, you will oversee the daily front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient service flow, and a welcoming dining environment. Working alongside the Food Service Director and culinary team, you will provide leadership, coach employees, and help maintain the high standards our guests expect.
Requirements
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in food service, hospitality, or retail.
- Ability to work with people and lead by example.
- Organized.
- Dependable.
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Passion for customer service.
- Ability to motivate a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities
- Supervise front-of-house staff throughout each shift while providing guidance and support to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Coordinate service.
- Respond to customer concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining room.
- Assist with training new team members.
- Monitor food stations to ensure they remain fully stocked and well presented.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
- Perform opening and closing responsibilities.
- Support campus events.
- Ensure all food safety and workplace safety standards are followed.
