About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a Common Access Card (CAC), which includes timely completion of all steps for obtaining and renewing the CAC, as well as completing yearly Cyber Awareness Training and signing the AUP. The Head Count performs duties during feeding hours, checking in patrons by receiving cash, making change, and recording transactions on a cash register (DD Form 1544) or headcount sheet (DA Form 3032). The role involves verifying patron authorization to dine through orders, meal cards, or identification cards, and maintaining diner flow. These duties are not exhaustive and may be expanded upon.

Requirements

  • Ability to count and give change to customers and reconcile cash box at the end of each meal.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Must be able to obtain and be responsible for maintaining a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Must be able to gain unescorted access to the installation.
  • Must be able to pass a Tier 1 investigation and obtain a Common Access Card.
  • Position requires reporting to work three times per day, for each meal.
  • Weekends required.

Responsibilities

  • Receive payment by cash and make change as needed.
  • Check identification and orders to ensure individual is authorized to eat in facility.
  • Be accountable for cash box during meals.
  • Display cordial and professional demeanor towards patrons entering the establishment.
  • Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
  • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of meals to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
  • Complete all steps in timely manner to obtain the CAC, renewing CAC when required, and completing the yearly Cyber Awareness Training and signing the AUP.
  • Perform duties during hours of feeding in accordance with the requirements of checking in patrons by receiving cash and making change and have them sign the cash register (DD Form 1544) or headcount sheet (DA Form 3032).
  • Verify patrons are authorized to eat within establishment through viewing of orders or meal card or identification card; maintain diner flow.
  • Adhere to Blackstone- Consulting LLC. Policies, rules and regulations as set forth in the employee handbook.
  • Comply with all HACCP standards.
  • Interact with and provide guidance to employees in a fair and consistent manner.
