About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to welcome residents to the dining venue and deliver an exceptional dining experience at White Horse Village. The Dining Experience Specialist goes beyond traditional restaurant service by focusing on relationship-centered hospitality, recognizing that dining is a meaningful part of residents’ daily lives, social engagement, and overall well-being. In this role, the Dining Experience Specialist provides attentive, personalized service while building positive relationships with residents and guests. By learning resident preferences, anticipating needs, and creating a warm and welcoming dining environment, the specialist ensures that each resident enjoys a consistent and exceptional dining experience that reflects the community’s commitment to hospitality, dignity, and care. Through advanced menu knowledge, thoughtful recommendations, and the ability to manage service challenges with empathy and professionalism, the Dining Experience Specialist contributes directly to resident satisfaction and the overall success of the dining program.

Requirements

  • Maintain a good work rapport with inter-departmental personnel.
  • Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing departmental activities as directed.
  • Assist coordinating departmental service with other departments.
  • Adhere to all WHV policies and procedures.
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, completing forms, reading memos and attend meetings, as directed.

  • Review Safety Data Sheets prior to working with any chemicals.
  • Treat all team members fairly & equally (comply with WHV non-discrimination policy).

  • Completes annual compliance training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the code of conduct in the performance of their duties.

  • Ensure seamless service for events, accommodating resident preferences and dietary requirements.

  • Set tables with proper linens, place settings, and décor before each meal service.
  • Accurately take and process resident meal orders, adhering to dietary restrictions.
  • Serve meals and beverages in a timely, professional manner.

  • Assist residents with seating, menu selection, or other needs as required.

  • Provide elevated service during special events, holiday meals, and private functions.
