About The Position

The Dining District Manager is the senior leader responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance of all dining operations within a designated district. This role oversees multiple sites and teams, serving as the primary point of contact for district-level clients, partners, and senior leadership. The District Manager drives business growth, ensures compliance, and fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This position requires full-time travel throughout the district to support operational, strategic, and client engagement needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in dining, hospitality, or multi-site operations management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and operational excellence at the district or regional level.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant industry technologies.
  • Deep knowledge of culinary techniques, food service trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to lead change, drive innovation, and deliver results in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Full-time travel throughout the district to support operational, strategic, and client engagement needs.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and strategic direction for all dining operations across the district, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Dining Operations Directors, Managers, and frontline staff, building a high performing, engaged workforce.
  • Oversee daily operations, catering, and event services for all district accounts, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for district-level clients, partners, and senior leadership, managing relationships and resolving escalated issues.
  • Direct the analysis of business results, market trends, and operational data; develop and implement district-wide action plans to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Own P&L management for the district, establishing financial controls, policies, and standard operating procedures to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Champion continuous improvement by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; drive innovation and implement enhancements across all sites.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards, maintaining secure and healthy environments throughout the district.
  • Foster a culture of modernization, creativity, and accountability, motivating teams to innovate menus, services, and guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for market expansion, increased customer engagement, and enhanced brand reputation.
  • Lead or support special corporate projects, district-wide initiatives, and organizational change efforts as assigned.
  • Represent the district in high-stakes situations, including client negotiations, crisis management, and major events.
  • May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
