About The Position

The primary function of the Dining Attendant will be to ensure all assigned areas are kept orderly and clean. This role involves clearing used items from tables, wiping down surfaces, mopping and sweeping floors, stocking products, and ensuring that delivered stock is put away properly. The Dining Attendant must maintain a safe work area, address spills and hazards, and keep their assigned work area neat and sanitary. They are also responsible for informing supervisors of any situations requiring immediate attention, interacting pleasantly with guests, and demonstrating excellent customer service skills. This includes accommodating guest needs and requests, providing high-quality service, and completing tasks even if overtime is involved. Additionally, the role requires examining inventory and supplies for quality and quantity, properly maintaining and storing company inventory, and protecting company assets from waste, breakage, and theft. Sharing equipment with co-workers, abiding by appearance standards, and completing a daily shift checklist are also key responsibilities. The Dining Attendant must adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures in an ethical manner and endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Clear used items from tables
  • Wipe tabletops and chairs, using damp cloth
  • Mop and sweep floors
  • Stocking products as needed
  • Ensure that stock delivered from warehouse is put away in proper storage areas in a timely manner
  • Maintain work area is in a safe condition, taking care of spills and other hazards as necessary
  • Maintain a neat and sanitary appearance of assigned work
  • Inform Supervisor /Manager of any situations that arise or need immediate attention
  • Interact pleasantly with guests when moving through the dining room
  • Know the hours/days of operation
  • Acknowledge and respond to customers immediately demonstrating top box customer service standards
  • Build relationships with customers demonstrating excellent service skills
  • Accommodate the needs and requests of any guest
  • Provide the highest quality of service to customers and associates at all times
  • Complete a task, even if overtime is involved
  • Receive and examine inventory and supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet established standards and specifications
  • Properly maintain and store company inventory including utensils, cookware, and machinery
  • Protect all company assets regarding waste, breakage, and theft
  • Share equipment with co-workers
  • Abide by appearance standards
  • Complete daily shift checklist that is verified by leader before leaving
  • Perform any other duties as requested by shift leader
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company/department policies/procedures in an ethical manner
