About The Position

The primary function of the Dining Attendant is to ensure all assigned areas are kept orderly and clean. This role involves maintaining a high standard of service to guests and team members, managing inventory, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene.
  • Willing to learn and be adaptable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members and guests.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes.
  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, push and pull items.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to handle high stress in the work environment and turn stress into high energy.
  • Must be able to be on feet for an 8-hour shift.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality, including secondhand smoke.

Responsibilities

  • Clear used items from tables, wipe tabletops and chairs using a damp cloth, and mop and sweep floors.
  • Ensure that stock delivered from the warehouse is put away in proper storage areas in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a neat, safe, and sanitary work area.
  • Inform the Supervisor /Manager of any situations that arise or need immediate attention.
  • Provide the highest quality of service to guests and Team Members at all times.
  • Complete a task, even if overtime is involved.
  • Receive and examine inventory and supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet established standards and specifications.
  • Properly maintain and store company inventory, including utensils, cookware, and machinery.
  • Protect all company assets regarding waste, breakage, and theft.
  • Complete the daily shift checklist that the leader verifies before leaving.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by shift leader.
  • Adhere to regulatory, company, and departmental policies and procedures in an ethical manner.
  • Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and Values.
