About The Position

As a Dining Associate, you will bring smiles, laughter, and joy to residents every day. At Friendship Village, we are known for our friendly and inviting dining experiences in our magnificent dining venues. We provide high standards of hospitality that make people want to return again and again. You will be responsible for assisting retired seniors by serving food, bussing tables, delivering meals to residents in their rooms, and attending to any other dining needs they may have. You will also be responsible for keeping the dining room in pristine order, assisting with dishwashing, and other kitchen duties. Friendship Village Retirement Community is a full-service retirement community and was recognized as an Employer of Choice in 2025 and has a 5-star long-term care facility.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must be able to work weekdays and holidays
• Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Assisting retired seniors by serving food
• Bussing tables
• Delivering meals to residents in their rooms
• Attending to any other dining needs residents may have
• Keeping the dining room in pristine order
• Assisting with dishwashing
• Performing other kitchen duties
