This role is crucial for revolutionizing how files are organized and managed, offering hands-on experience in managing historical records. The Generation Records Management Program oversees over 100 years of records, and the intern will help transform physical materials into high-quality, accessible digital versions. The work involves computer time, repetitive tasks, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds in an office environment. A successful intern will demonstrate prior Microsoft Office software experience, attention to detail, an interest in digitization, and some experience with historical documents. Basic knowledge of digitization processes, scanning equipment, or historic document handling is preferred. Additional opportunities may arise based on the completion of primary goals and the intern's skills and interests.
