The Digitization Associate will contribute to imaging activities for digitization within the Libraries. This role involves performing imaging of paper-based materials, converting documents to TIF and other formats, utilizing OCR and image processing applications, conducting quality control, and meeting production goals and deadlines. The position collaborates with staff and vendors on digitization projects, applies appropriate imaging practices, and operates various capture hardware and software. Responsibilities include image processing, metadata embedding, file preparation, troubleshooting, and project tracking. The position also supports team workflows, participates in professional development, and collaborates with staff across the Libraries to solve problems and improve efficiencies.
