About The Position

The Digital Transformation Applications Developer I is a mission-critical role responsible for engineering, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-level software solutions within a secure Department of War (DoW) environment. This position leverages a diverse technical stack—including ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, C#, and ASP.NET—to modernize customer workflows and enhance data visualization through Power BI dashboards. The successful candidate will operate as part of a high-collaboration team, ensuring all developments adhere to rigorous DISA STIG compliance and cybersecurity standards while integrating modern AI methodologies and API-driven data structures to support mission objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science.
Active DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA Security, GSEC).
Must possess and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
1 to 3 years of demonstrated application development experience operating within a DoD or Department of War (DoW) work environment.
Must excel in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating exceptional teaming capabilities and the ability to integrate seamlessly with fellow developers and mission owners.
Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively translate complex technical concepts to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Configure, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, including designing UI policies, managing customer workflows, and supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
Design, build, and deploy low-code/no-code custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps to modernize and optimize legacy processes.
Develop visualization applications and build interactive dashboards utilizing Microsoft Power BI to support data-driven decision-making and real-time project tracking.
Design, code, test, and deploy software solutions utilizing C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript.
Develop, manage, and maintain API integrations, executing data calls to connect disparate systems, ensuring seamless and secure data flow across the enterprise architecture.
Apply an understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) methodologies and their interactions within development structures to support the integration of intelligent features into modern applications.
Engineer and implement automated project tracking and customer workflows to streamline business processes across platforms (ServiceNow, Power Apps, custom applications).
Ensure all software applications and system configurations adhere strictly to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) and standard DoD cybersecurity protocols.
