About The Position

Liquid Church is seeking a part-time Project Manager to support work primarily tied to their Rock RMS church management system. This role is crucial for the Digital Products team to create effective systems for internal customers (ministries) and easy-to-use experiences for external customers (congregation). The ideal candidate is a servant leader passionate about using organizational and interpersonal skills to manage incoming and ongoing projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Software Development, Information Technology, or commensurate experience.
  • Ability to build project parameters, timelines, and coordinate with all stakeholders.
  • Adept at learning new tools, such as Rock RMS, Asana, etc.
  • Able to speak in technical terms with teammates.
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at once.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Communicates with clarity, detail, and empathy.
  • Adept at building relationships and good rapport with colleagues across teams.
  • Maintain a high level of excellence and quality in personal interactions with Staff and Volunteers.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily intake, review, and assignment of incoming Asana tasks for all digital items (Rock, website, app, etc.)
  • Creates recurring tasks in Asana for Digital Products team members.
  • Makes minor edits / adjustments to Digital Products as needed to support workflow and deadlines (e.g., adding dates to Outreach Forms, minor form updates, text edits)
  • Reviews and tests all Digital Products built in Rock RMS to help ensure the products are ready for public deployment.
  • Schedules and Oversees Digital Products Team consultation meetings with organizational stakeholders, serving as a liaison between the two groups – able to understand “tech talk” and the inner workings of Rock, while also able to decipher ministry leader’s needs and speak in layman’s terms to create alignment among all parties.
  • Sends form submission calendar reminders to Ministry Leaders based on Master Calendar Events, to help facilitate timely submissions.
  • Keep abreast of new Digital Products technologies to support Digital Products Director of potential Liquid future enhancements.
  • Serves alongside Ministry Systems Teams for large organizational events to represent the digital team.
