About The Position

The Digital Systems Operator supports the daily operation of digital systems and related software, including monitoring performance and assisting with routine maintenance, upgrades, and system enhancements. This role executes established processes, documents issues, and supports system changes to ensure reliable and efficient digital operations. The position works with internal teams to carry out approved system updates and process improvements in alignment with organizational standards and procedures. This position will assist in fulfilling the mission of the credit union and will create and maintain loyalty with both internal/external members and vendors. Requirements

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
  • A bachelor's degree, or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
  • Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
  • Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the daily operation and performance of digital systems and related software to ensure availability, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Perform all upgrades/releases and coordinate necessary testing in a timely and efficient manner ensuring that our digital systems are functional and all supporting documentation is in compliance.
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including user setup, configuration updates, and scheduled upgrades, following established procedures.
  • Manage, troubleshoot and address ongoing digital systems support tickets.
  • Identify, log, and track system issues or errors, escalating items as needed and assisting with resolution and testing.
  • Conduct system testing for new features, updates, and integrations to validate functionality and ensure requirements are met prior to release.
  • Support internal users by responding to system-related requests, troubleshooting basic issues, and coordinating with vendors or internal technical teams as appropriate.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with credit union policies, data security standards, and regulatory requirements, including confidentiality of member information.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Own internal and external member problems, issues and complaints and ensure the proper follow up or escalation to achieve proper resolution.
