We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our PSCV (Product Safety Certification Validation) Verification Design System Integration team as a Digital Systems Engineer. In this role, you will part of a methods team that is responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting V&V system software solutions to enhance the efficiency of validation planning and build/test execution activities. You will work closely with validation engineers to understand process requirements, as well as other software teams across the company to define enterprise-compatible software solutions that best serve the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree
  • Strong programming skills in multiple languages (Java, Python, C++) as well as experience with data science and system architectures
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support and lead current software development activities within PSCV
  • Extrapolate and understand the requirements of the Engineering user community to deliver optimal software solutions for validation planning of engine build and test activities
  • Integrate with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), RTX Digital Technologies, and other Engineering software methods teams to foster strategic alignment across the enterprise
  • Assist in the creation of a Digital Thread for the PSCV and Engine Test domain
  • Support PSCV core discipline processes and methods to improve communication and efficiency
