Digital Sr. Development Engineer

CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Alpharetta, GA: Digital Sr. Development Engineer to design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- Two (2) years of experience with Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Two (2) years of experience developing cloud data pipeline services for data optimization
- Two (2) years of experience automating test process and update reporting software to monitor test outputs
- Two (2) years of experience with GIT or Hadoop
- Two (2) years of experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, or Python
- Two (2) years of experience with SQL
- Two (2) years of experience connecting unit tests to build process to complete integration testing
- Two (2) years of experience developing end-to-end applications and leveraging new technologies available in cloud environment
- Two (2) years of experience developing database schema and related queries to build backend application
- Two (2) years of experience implementing unit test cases to automate quality control process
- Two (2) years of experience working on Big Query projects for extracting the data required for web analytics
- Two (2) years of experience implementing a Proof of Concept to demonstrate potential technologies to be used in developing applications
Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements
- Determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation
- Upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing
- Develop and deploy application components and support unit testing and bug fixes
- Participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD
- Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices
- Mentor junior team member
