About The Position

Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking Digital Sales Representatives for its Inbound Phone Divisions. In this role, you will be responsible for customer care, acting as a "hero" for the Ferguson Home Digital team. You will be evaluated on call/chat quality and performance metrics, with an expectation of being present, invested, and committed to the customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills, providing outstanding service through sales and enhancing opportunities to drive revenue and company growth. This position is approved to be fully remote within the United States.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of prior sales, retail, or customer service experience, or at least 3 months in a Ferguson Home Digital Customer Service job profile.
  • Be highly detail oriented and have superior interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience using critical thinking tools to solve customer issues.
  • Self-motivated, great teammate, and fast learner.
  • Systematic and adaptable approach.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office and Google Office suites.
  • Ability to type 40+ WPM for phone and 45+ WPM for chat.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Reliable and consistent internet connection.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound call/chat volume, with expectations of taking between 40-50 inbound customer calls/chats per 8-hour workday.
  • Complete all Brand Sales Trainings (BST) each month.
  • Meet 85% schedule adherence to assigned schedule as referenced in Genesys phone system.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards through call quality, problem solving, ownership over any customer issue, and going above & beyond to address all needs.
  • Maintain customer records by logging and retaining correct and precise information in Salesforce.com.
  • Proactively identify and report website, process, product page, or post‑call issues or bugs encountered during your daily workflow.
  • Work with a team of 15-20 other sales associates.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage guests.
  • All BST’s must be completed to be eligible for promotions.
