About The Position

U.S. Legal Support is hiring Digital Reporters in Houston, TX. This is a hybrid role, involving work at client sites, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The Digital Reporter is responsible for recording and managing the official audio record of legal proceedings using digital audio technology to ensure accurate capture, organization, and preparation of recordings for transcription.

Requirements

• Tech-savvy: Comfortable working with computers, software, and audio equipment.
• Minimum typing speed of 55+ WPM (typing test required).
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a State Notary Commission (assistance provided).
• Willingness to undergo training and certification provided by the company.

Nice To Haves

• Existing Notary commission is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer oaths and ensure a clear, accurate record during depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Transport, set up, and operate computer and audio recording equipment for in-person and remote proceedings.
• Prepare audio files, exhibits, and related materials for transcription after each proceeding.
